Can I bike home under the sun immediately after a Glow Peeling session?
Given the cycling culture in the Netherlands, this is a very common question. Because the peeling removes the outermost layer of dead skin cells, your face will be temporarily hyper-sensitive to UV radiation. You can bike home, but you must apply a generous layer of broad-spectrum SPF 50 before leaving our clinic. If it is an exceptionally sunny day, we highly recommend wearing a cap or sun hat for your commute to prevent sun damage.
